Our Story
Huckwell started with a question we couldn’t stop thinking about:
Why are the things our cats use every single day made from materials we’d never choose for ourselves?
Our cat, Sommi, made that question impossible to ignore. Like most cats, she’s particular. And like most cat owners, we found ourselves a bit grossed out by our plastic litter box.
They scratched easily. They were stinky. They never really felt clean. It didn’t make sense.
So we started looking for something better and quickly realized it didn’t exist. That’s when we decided to make one.
We believe litter boxes can be both functional and beautiful. Something that fits into your home instead of being hidden in a corner.
